SnipKey privacy policy
SnipKey stores your snippets in Chrome's local storage on your computer. To expand a trigger, SnipKey compares the last few characters you type against your own triggers, entirely inside your browser; it never records, stores, sells or transmits what you type, the pages you visit, or your snippets. If you use the {clipboard} placeholder and grant clipboard access, the clipboard is read only at the moment that snippet expands and is not stored. If you buy Pro, payment is processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe, who receive your email and payment details to manage the subscription. Free trial: if you start the 7-day Pro trial, ExtensionPay asks for your email address to send the trial link and to manage the trial. The extension itself never collects your email. Newsletter (optional): you can sign up for tips and offers on our website, where the email list is run by Kit (kit.com). You can unsubscribe from any email. The extension never sends your email or any other data to the list. Cancel anytime from the extension (Manage → Manage or cancel subscription); you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
